• We "Flashroast" the beans in a fluid bed, micro-roaster of our own design. We roast faster and at lower temperatures than is possible using conventional equipment. The flavor is uniquely rich and satisfying. We are sure you will appreciate the difference and continue to buy from us.
• The services we offer are also unique. You may order any of our 20+ coffees, custom roasted to your individual instructions, and we will roast and ship it - same day. No coffee is roasted until you order it. We also offer automatic delivery plans and other convenient options which may be tailored to fit your needs.

We would like to send you 2 - 2oz packets of whole bean coffees. This is your opportunity to sample the quality of our coffee and our first step in getting to know you and better understand your coffee needs. Based on your comments below, we will select two different coffees to send. Each pkg will make an 8 to 10 cup pot of coffee (approx 45 oz), or 10+ shots of espresso.

We would like to deliver these coffee samples free of charge. However, as freshness is so essential in delivering the full depth of flavor in these exceptional beans, we must use First Class Postage. This ensures you will receive your custom roasted beans no more than 2 or 3 days out of the roaster. Freshness is a big part of what sets our beans apart from other high-line coffees. You will taste the difference. As Postal rates keep going up, we are no longer able to send the packets for free. We considered dropping the program, but were persuaded to try charging a nominal $2 fee which doesn't quite cover the postage but helps share the cost and keep the program alive. Hundreds of our current customers were introduced to our unique coffees in this way and we hope to gain many more new friends and partners in the coming years.
